Day outing, evening outing or staycation: how to choose
The decision this guide helps with is which format suits your group: a day outing from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, an evening outing from 4 pm to 10 pm, or a night in one of the six room styles. Rangmanch Farms offers all three on the same 20+ acres, 30 minutes from Delhi via the Dwarka Expressway, so the real differences are when you arrive, what you eat, how the light falls and who is coming.
Time of day is a quick filter. A day outing runs in daylight, with breakfast, chaat and lunch all in the ticket. An evening outing starts in the late afternoon and finishes with dinner under the lights. A staycation adds the night itself and the morning after, with check-in at 2 pm and check-out at 11 am.
The sections below set the three side by side on meals, light and the kind of group each suits, then say when each is the right call. If your plan sits between two formats, the team can talk it through on WhatsApp.

What you eat, and when
The day outing runs on a vegetarian menu: breakfast from 9:30 to 11:30 am, snacks and chaat from 12 to 4 pm, and lunch from 1 to 3 pm, all included in the ticket. The evening outing is built around food that arrives in stages: street food opens at 4 pm, starters arrive by 7 pm and dinner by 8 pm, with tea and coffee from 4 to 8 pm. Non-vegetarian dishes are available then, among them chicken and mutton starters and a chicken curry. A staycation includes all meals across the night.
How the light changes the day
A day outing is lived in sunlight, so the climbing and zipline stations, the water zone, the animals and the gardens are all part of the daytime visit. An evening outing carries the activity list on after dark: the activity zones, the places where people eat and the main gathering spaces are lit, and the adventure courses run under lights until 8:30 pm. The water zone is open in both formats, and the farm advises a change of clothes by day and a costume in the evening. A staycation gives you the lit evening and the following morning as well.
Which group suits which format
A day outing suits families with children, school groups, teams and friends who want the full activity list and are comfortable with a vegetarian menu. An evening outing suits an office group or a birthday group that wants a sit-down dinner with non-vegetarian choices after a few hours of activities. A staycation suits anyone who would rather not drive home late: a family weekend, a couple marking an anniversary, or a team on a two-day off-site.
If the group includes older relatives or very young children, the staycation also offers a place to rest between activities: the six room styles sleep 2 to 6 guests, from the Deluxe Room to the Family Suite, and every style has air-conditioning and heating.
When each one is the right call
Choose the day outing when you want a full day of activities with breakfast, chaat and lunch included. Choose the evening outing when the only free window is after work or school, or when non-vegetarian food matters to the group. Choose the staycation when the journey home, a late finish or an early start would otherwise cut the day short. If you are unsure, begin with a day outing and add a night on a later visit; the evening outing and staycation pages hold the details of the other two.
Frequently asked questions
Can we combine a day outing and an evening outing in one visit?
The farm's corporate programmes include a day-and-evening window from 9:30 am to 10 pm, so a combined day is possible for a company booking. For a family or friends' group, message the team on WhatsApp and ask whether a combined visit can be arranged for your date.
Is non-vegetarian food available at the day outing?
The day outing menu is vegetarian throughout. Non-vegetarian dishes are part of the evening outing, where chicken and mutton starters and a chicken curry are served and marked on the menu. If your group wants meat on the menu, the evening outing is the one to look at first. For the staycation menu, ask the team when you book.
Are activities available during the evening outing?
Yes. The activity list carries on after dark: the zones are lit and the adventure courses run under lights until 8:30 pm, with dinner on the table by 8 pm. The water zone stays open as well, and a costume is needed there. Everything is included in the ticket.
Does a staycation include the activities and meals, or only the room?
A night includes all meals and all 80+ activities, so the room is not the only thing covered. Check-in is at 2 pm, which leaves the afternoon and evening for the farm, and check-out is at 11 am. The six room styles sleep 2 to 6 guests between them; the staycation page describes each style.
