Day outing with toddlers

Yes, a day outing with toddlers works at Rangmanch Farms if the day is planned around meals and the Kids Zone. Breakfast is served from 9:30 to 11:30 am, snacks and chaat run from 12 to 4 pm, and lunch is from 1 to 3 pm, all included in the ticket. The farm is 30 minutes from Delhi via the Dwarka Expressway, so the drive stays short.

Tickets are priced by height: children below 3 ft are complimentary, children between 3 ft and 4 ft have a child ticket, and the price is shown on this page. Staff supervise the water activities, and activities with an age gate come with guidance on the day, so a message to the team on WhatsApp can settle any doubt about a particular one.

The rest of this page covers what suits the youngest guests, from the Kids Zone and the animal attractions to the meal counters and what to carry; the activities page has the full list.

What changes for this audience

Stay near the Kids Zone for the first hour and let the child set the pace instead of working through a list. Use the meal windows as the breaks: breakfast until 11:30 am, the counter from 12, and lunch from 1 to 3 pm. Leave the high-energy zones for older siblings and treat the rope courses and the zipline as something to watch. Rely on a hat and sunscreen against the afternoon sun, and keep the water-zone change of clothes within reach.

The Kids Zone and its neighbours

Inside the Kids Zone the farm lists Swings, Kids Boating, the Kiddie Columbus Ride, the Kiddie Dolphin Ride and a Multi-Playstation. Elsewhere on the property, the Trampoline, the Camel Cart, Horse Ride and the Illusion Room are named as popular with younger guests, and the Rabbitry, Mini Zoo and Emu are on the list of special attractions for children who would rather watch than ride. Staff can advise on which of the age-gated activities suit a child, so ask at the zone rather than guess.

Meals, in the order they come

Breakfast opens at 9:30 am and runs until 11:30 am, with idli, vada with sambhar, halwa and stuffed paranthas on the counter. From 12 to 4 pm the running counter has Jalebi, French Fries and Pizza, which the farm singles out for younger guests, alongside chaat. Lunch, from 1 to 3 pm, is a buffet with dal, rajma or chole, Indian breads, raita and desserts. Buttermilk, lemon water, tea and coffee are available all day, and the menu is vegetarian. Plan lunch around your toddler's usual rhythm; the buffet window leaves room to choose a quieter moment.

What to bring

Clothes that can take a splash suit the day, and a spare set is needed for the water zone, which includes the Swimming Pool and Rain Dance. Pack a hat and sunscreen, since much of the day is spent outdoors, and leave the equipment to the farm, which provides it all. On arrival the farm asks for the email or SMS confirmation and a photo ID matching the booking name, so keep both within reach rather than at the bottom of a bag.

Frequently asked questions

Is a day outing suitable for very young children?

It can be, if the day is paced for the child. The farm names the Trampoline, the Camel Cart, Horse Ride and the Illusion Room as favourites among younger guests, and the Kids Zone gathers the child-sized rides in one place. Water activities are supervised, and staff guide families on age-gated activities when they reach them. Anything specific about a child's age can be asked on WhatsApp beforehand.

Do toddlers need a ticket?

Tickets follow height. Children below 3 ft are complimentary, children between 3 ft and 4 ft have a child ticket, and adults are those above 4 ft. The price of each paying category is shown on this page.

What do toddlers eat at the farm?

Breakfast brings idli, vada with sambhar, halwa and stuffed paranthas; the running counter from 12 to 4 pm has Jalebi, French Fries and Pizza among other items; and lunch is a buffet from 1 to 3 pm with dal, rajma or chole, breads and raita. The menu is vegetarian and all meals are included.

How early should a family arrive with a toddler?

The farm recommends arriving by 10 am. That falls inside the breakfast window, which runs until 11:30 am, so a toddler can eat before the first ride rather than after it. The day ends at 5:30 pm, so the afternoon can be kept short if the child tires.
